2. Data privacy

We understand that the data you send to Eggplanned is confidential and we treat it as such. We will never share the data you send us with anyone, except for third parties involved with transactions, such as banks and creditcard companies, or unless required by law. Access to personal data will be restricted to certain Eggplanned staff in order to provide support and develop the service. We will, however, never access your planning, unless necessarily for repairs if for any reason data gets corrupted and consent is given by the user.

3. Data we collect

Eggplanned collects personal information, such as your name and email address, from you at the point of user registration. Additionally, when upgrading your account to Pro status, payment information is stored to allow fees to be annually debited.

4. How your data is being used

We use you email address for identification purposes at the point of logging in and when syncing data with our database. Additionally, we will use your email address to inform of coming changes in our Privacy Policy or Terms of Use and for sending news, promotions and surveys if requested by the user under "Mailing" on the account page. Furthermore, we ask you to enter your name at the point of user registration, which will be used for personalization purposes (In the app and when sending emails) only.

5. Inspection and correction

while logged in, personal information can be accessed on www.eggplanned.com/account . Here you will also be able to change password and mailing preferences. To correct your email address or username, you can send an email to contact@eggplanned.com and we will correct it within one month as stated in the General Data Protection Regulation.

6. How your data is protected

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. To enable auto-login for our software, upon login, a token is stored on your computer which can be validated by our server, preventing storage of sensitive data such as a password from being stored on your device.

Cookies are small amounts of data that we send to your browser that are stored on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to access information when you sign in, to store your preferences and to keep you logged in. You can configure your browser to accept or reject these cookies.
